Meet the Designer:
Growing up as the daughter of a homebuilder, my love for construction and design began early and runs deep. Nothing excites me more than seeing a home's potential and helping homeowners transform it into something both beautiful and functional.
My family moved to Pell City when I was young so my father could build homes around Logan Martin Lake. Today, I enjoy sharing that experience with my own family and take pride in driving through the area and seeing the homes and renovations I've helped bring to life.
While I enjoy designing new custom homes, my true passion lies in renovations and additions. Existing homes often present unique challenges, and I love finding creative solutions that improve the way families live while preserving the character of their homes.
I hold degrees in Human Environmental Sciences and Drafting & Design Technology. Combining technical expertise with an understanding of how people use and experience their spaces allows me to create homes that are both practical and thoughtfully designed.

How it works
My Design Process
1. Initial Consultation
We meet to discuss your goals, ideas, and vision for your project. During this visit, I gather information about your home and take any necessary measurements.
2. Preliminary Design
Using the information collected, I develop preliminary floor plans and design concepts tailored to your needs.
3. Review & Refine
We meet to review the preliminary drawings and discuss any revisions needed to ensure the design aligns with your vision. Together, we fine-tune the details until the layout feels just right.
4. Final Construction Drawings
Once the design is finalized, I prepare a complete set of construction drawings that can be used for contractor pricing and permitting, where applicable.
5. Bring Your Vision to Life
With plans in hand, you're ready to move forward with construction and transform your home.

We could not be more pleased with the results of our plans for a new home! Kristina took the time to listen to our ideas, review our rudimentary sketches, and transform them into a reality. Has truly been a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Cannot wait for the collaboration to become a reality in 2026!
